When a wedding photographer gets married

After many years in the wedding industry, I took the journey together with my now husband and became a bride!

Open Note to all Brides: I understand you ladies so much more now! I have always fought to be the most thoughtful, accommodating, caring, kind, and generous photographer you'll ever meet, and after being a bride myself I can see that I need to push even harder to make sure that your day is FLAWLESS.

I took all of my own advice and still, after half an hour of couple's portraits I was DONE. So done. My feet + those awesome wedding day shoes = omg. My dress was a show stopper.... but I had no idea how tough it is to wear a ballgown all day!

What I am saying ladies is this: I get you.

I'm always striving to be the best me I can be, and now I have all the info I need to push it just that much farther so that you can have the perfect day!

Much love to all the brides planning their weddings!

(Also, Husband, I love you so much and I can't thank you enough for dealing with me while I was sweating through my corset and howling about my shoes)
